God can do the impossible
(Zechariah's Kingdom Assignment)
Zechariah said the promise of a son was impossible. He wasn’t being dramatic. He was honestly processing what God said would happen didn’t fit what he could see.
Scripture gives a long pattern of God stepping into situations where human effort has hit a wall.
When God was seeking someone to establish a family that would become a nation to bring the Messiah into the world, He did the unexpected. He chose Abraham and Sarah, who were old, and she was barren. The perfect candidates to show that the children born to them would be a miracle. God was in it.
Consider all these women who couldn’t conceive until God intervened.
Rebekah and Isaac. Rachel and Jacob. Samson’s mother. Hannah. Elizabeth. Even Mary, the mother of Jesus, fits this pattern. She was not barren, but her pregnancy was impossible. God created life in her by the Spirit.
These births are not random miracles, but signposts.
What we view as impossible is no problem to God. With God, all things are possible.
He can do the impossible.
He chooses the unlikely.
He creates where humans cannot.
He advances His kingdom through people who trust and obey.
God is showing how His kingdom advances. Not through strength, control, or perfect conditions but through dependence and trust in Him.

He is just looking for the willing servant, even if it comes from the most unexpected place.
Praise God! This article blessed me! It is a reminder to not be discouraged by what my eyes see in the relationship with my children, because I serve a God who specializes in the Impossible!
